Billing is per workspace. The free Sandbox plan gives you 1 workspace with 5 active passports, no card. All plans include EU residency, encryption in transit and at rest, and unlimited audit-trail history. Seats for suppliers, auditors, and staff are never billed separately. Need more capacity? Extra active passports are a flat €2.75 each per month on every plan, with one-time top-up packs available.

We meter on active published passports - not drafts, not API calls. Starter includes 100 active passports, Operator includes 2,500, Scale includes 15,000, and Enterprise is quoted on committed volume.
Can I pay monthly or annually?+
Yes. Annual billing is shown by default as a monthly-equivalent price and is about 15% lower than monthly billing. Monthly plans are available from the billing toggle.
Do you offer volume discounts at scale?+
Yes. Above 50,000 monthly passports the per-unit rate drops; above 500,000 it drops again. Multi-brand groups and regulated parents get a single blended rate across all subsidiaries.
Can I switch plans mid-cycle?+
Upgrade any time - the new entitlements unlock instantly and we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period so you never lose features you already shipped against.
Are there setup or onboarding fees?+
No setup fees on Sandbox, Starter, Operator, or Scale. Enterprise can include a fixed implementation package - schema mapping, ERP/PIM integration, and signed audit-room handover - quoted up front.
How is "passport" defined for billing - per SKU or per published version?+
Per SKU per published version that is publicly resolvable. Internal drafts, sandbox passports, and re-saves of the same version are free. Republishing a new version (e.g. updated battery chemistry) counts as one new published passport.
